Hardy Rocks (Hardy, rocas)
The Hardy Rocks (-66.26667°N, -67.28333°W) are insular rocks lying 2 nmi west of DuBois Island, in the Biscoe Islands of Antarctica. They were mapped from air photos taken by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–57), and were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for James D. Hardy, an American physiologist who has studied the reactions of the human body to cold environments.

Antarctica is Earth's southernmost and least-populated continent. Situated almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle and surrounded by the Southern Ocean (also known as the Antarctic Ocean), it contains the geographic South Pole. Native species of animals include mites, nematodes, penguins, seals and tardigrades. Where vegetation occurs, it is mostly in the form of lichen or moss.
